June 15, 2010 Board Meeting Agenda Item #24 Title AGREEMENT BETWEEN AMI KIDS SARASOTA COUNTY AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY Description This agreement outlines the relationship and responsibilities shared by the SBSC and AMI Kids Sarasota who provides alternative programs of education, training, and related services for students assigned to the Alternative School program by the district and the Department of Juvenile Justice. Recommendation That the School Board of Sarasota County approve the agreement for  AMI Kids Sarasota County to provide alternative programs. Contact WHITE & WIGGINS Financial Impact AMI will be paid for the students enrolled as if those students were enrolled in a basic program or a special program in a public school in the School District.
